The metal laser cutting machine has some more or less losses in the process of long-term use, such as slow cutting speed, poor accuracy and other problems. Before discussing this problem, let's first understand the main components of the laser cutting machine. The laser cutting machine is mainly composed of two parts, one is the CNC console, the other is the machine tool.
We can input the drawings needed to be processed into it through the CNC console. After calculation, the instructions will be transmitted to the processing machine, and the processing machine will process the desired sheet metal pattern according to the instructions. The core part of the machine tool is mainly the laser generator, which is the core of the entire equipment. But why do you say that? Because it is a secret device for cutting metal. It can convert electric energy into light energy, and release super strong laser beam, and the laser beam band has a lot of energy. By shining on the sheet metal surface, the irradiated surface can quickly reach a very high temperature, so that the irradiated surface of the workpiece can melt and evaporate, and cutting and carving can be achieved through the displacement of the cutting head. Although the laser cutting machine has strong processing performance, long-term use will cause the laser cutting machine performance degradation, and the processing efficiency will be reduced.
The main reasons for the decline of cutting capacity of metal laser cutting machine are as follows:
After the fiber metal laser cutting machine is used for a long time, the laser power will decline, which will directly affect the cutting performance. The laser cutting speed is directly related to the laser power. The higher the power, the higher the cutting speed.
The focus position affects the cutting progress. The diameter of the focus spot should be as small as possible to produce narrow slits. If the cutting performance decreases, the focus position can be adjusted. The distance between the workpiece and the nozzle also affects the cutting effect. If the distance is too far, it will cause energy waste. If the distance is too close, it will affect the dispersion of the sputtered cutting products. Generally, the appropriate distance is 0.8mm. In addition, improper operation, long time of load production, long time of no maintenance, etc. will lead to the decline of the performance of the fiber metal laser cutting machine, and the cutting effect will be greatly reduced.
So, how can we prevent the decline of cutting machine performance?
First of all, from the user's operating specifications, the equipment user should follow the general safety operating procedures for laser cutter, and strictly follow the laser startup procedures to start the laser, adjust the light, and test the machine. The fiber metal laser cutting machine shall be operated by special personnel and trained by professionals. The operator must be trained, familiar with cutting software, equipment structure and performance, and master relevant knowledge of operating system. It is very important to execute the switch on/off sequence correctly, be familiar with each switch panel button, and operate the fiber laser cutting machine correctly. When the equipment is started, the operator shall not leave the post without authorization or entrust others to take charge of it. If it is really necessary to leave, the machine shall be shut down or the power switch shall be cut off. In case of any abnormality during processing, stop the machine immediately, eliminate the fault or report to the supervisor.
In the process of daily use, we should push the crossbeam before starting the machine, try to move it forward and backward, move it left and right without abnormal noise, and then power on. After finishing the work of the day, clean the materials and waste residue produced in the machine on the day. This can protect the machine motion system from being damaged by foreign objects. In addition, it is necessary to clean its moving parts frequently to keep the machine in good working condition. The specific methods are as follows:
1. Inject a little lubricating oil on the screws, including the screws on the laser tube support and the first reflector, to facilitate the disassembly and assembly during maintenance. Note: Do not add lubricating oil to synchronous belt, drag chain, air pipe, motor, sensor, lens and wire.
2. No articles can be placed in the machine to avoid unnecessary damage to the machine.
3. Clean the dust and foreign matters on the metal oil tanker, metal shaft, sliding block and linear guide rail with cotton cloth, then add lubricating oil, and carry out idling reciprocating movement.
In addition, daily maintenance shall be carried out for all parts of the laser cutting machine:
1. Replacement of circulating water and cleaning of water tank: Make sure that the laser tube is full of circulating water before the machine works. The quality and temperature of the circulating water directly affect the service life of the laser tube. Therefore, the circulating water shall be replaced regularly and the water tank shall be cleaned. It is better to have it once a week.
2. Fan cleaning: The fan in the machine will accumulate a lot of solid dust in the fan after being used for a long time, which will make the fan produce a lot of noise and is not conducive to exhaust and deodorization. When the suction of the fan is insufficient and the smoke is not smooth, the fan should be cleaned.
3. Lens cleaning: there will be some reflectors and focusing mirrors on the machine. The laser is reflected and focused by these lenses and then emitted from the laser hair. The lens is easy to be stained with dust or other pollutants, causing laser loss or lens damage. So clean the lenses every day. At the same time of cleaning, it should be noted that the lens should be gently wiped to avoid damaging the surface coating; The wiping process shall be handled with care to prevent falling; When installing the focusing mirror, be sure to keep the concave side downward.
It is very important to pay attention to the daily maintenance of the laser cutting machine, which can effectively improve the working performance of the machine and extend the service life.
