The advent of professional laser pipe cutting machine has greatly improved the production efficiency of metal composite pipes.
Many customers are not familiar with the chuck installation process, resulting in the cutting accuracy not reaching the ideal effect. This article will tell you about the chuck installation process, the factors affecting the cutting accuracy and the solutions.
Clamping and positioning accuracy and repeated clamping and positioning accuracy of the chuck - the chuck has been accurately debugged before delivery. It is within 0.1 for dk4s type, 0.1 for MSS type, 0.25 for SD type, 0.2 for BK type and 0.05 for LK type;
Parallelism between the rotation center axis of the rear chuck and the guide rail of the machine tool (in horizontal and vertical directions) -- fix the dial gauge on the machine bed, align the tip of the dial gauge with the bottom surface of the chuck barrel, slide the chuck back and forth, detect the straightness, and adjust it in place. Here, it is generally solved by padding copper sheet; Fix the dial gauge on the machine bed, align the gauge tip with the side of the chuck barrel, slide the chuck back and forth, detect the straightness and adjust it in place. Here, the adjustment bolt on the side of the rotating base is generally used to solve the problem;
Parallelism and concentricity of the front chuck and the rear chuck -- fix the dial gauge on the surface of the rear chuck or clamp it with the rear chuck, align the tip of the dial gauge with the plane of the inner ring of the front chuck bearing, rotate the rear chuck, detect the parallelism and adjust it in place (Tips: detect the quartile). Generally, it is solved by padding the copper sheet and adjusting the jacking bolt;
The dial gauge is fixed on the surface of the rear chuck or clamped by the rear chuck. The gauge tip is aligned with the outer diameter or inner wall of the inner ring of the bearing of the front chuck. Rotate the rear chuck to detect the concentricity and adjust it in place. This is generally solved by padding copper sheet and adjusting the jacking bolt.
The above sequence must not be reversed. If the sequence is reversed, the effect will not be achieved. The error value should be adjusted to the minimum as possible, because the value accumulated in each link will directly affect the cutting accuracy. In addition, the machining accuracy, rigidity and straightness of the machine tool itself are not ideal. In addition, the cutting materials are basically bent, so do not be afraid of trouble or luck.
Through the above steps and methods, the chuck has been basically installed in place. At this time, we need a standard round bar (the chromium plated bar and round pipe are not standard and cannot be used. We must use a round bar with high hardness that has been finely ground with double tips) for re inspection. The front and rear chucks hold the inspection rod at the same time, fix the dial gauge on the machine bed, align the gauge tip with the side of the inspection rod, slide the rear chuck, and detect the parallelism between the concentric axis of the front and rear chucks and the horizontal direction of the machine guide rail; In the same way, align the watch tip with the top surface of the inspection bar, and check the parallelism between the concentric axis of the front and rear chucks and the vertical direction of the machine tool guide rail. If the error is large, please check the previous steps until the error range is around 0.1.
The front and rear chucks hold the inspection rod at the same time, try to pull apart the distance between the front and rear chucks, fix the dial gauge on the bed, align the gauge tip with the inspection rod and try to be close to the chuck, and rotate the front and rear chucks at the same time to test the clamping and positioning accuracy of the front and rear chucks respectively; Re clamp the inspection rod and rotate it to test the repeated positioning accuracy of the front and rear chucks respectively.
